Managed Services

The founders of Impact Medical were responsible for the development of the first mobile 'Roll On, Roll Off' to the NHS in the 1990's, today the business operates over 64 mobile and static clinics across the UK. Our offering is a full service provision based on;

• Delivery of state-of-the-art equipment, deliver the evening before or the day of treatment
• Installation and testing of all equipment
• The provision of a highly qualified and experienced Radiographer to deliver patient treatment
• Patient management through treatment, working with the local team pre and post patient treatments
• Removal of all equipment at the end of the treatment session.

Our managed service provision supports the efficient running of a lithotripsy and orthopaedic service within an NHS setting, we will support the local hospital team in terms of service development and service implementation, patient treatment protocols including scheduling, pre-screening, pre-meds and patient communications. We also have an in-house resource to manage and implement radiation certification to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Service Sustainability

Having operated NHS managed services for over 15 years we can support local consultants and business managers with the development of business cases to support service development and to work with the local business team to demonstrate the financials benefits of implementing a managed service. Our clinical team works with consultants and clinical staff on tailoring the service provision to support the local needs and we will also implement an ongoing service review to ensure we are providing the best possible service to all patients whilst also recognising the growing pressures on the NHS for efficiency gains.
