Impact Medical Limited was formed in 2001 by the 4 current directors to provide mobile shockwave therapy to the NHS and private sectors. The business has developed and following the acquisition of United Medical Services UK in 2005 the business now provides in excess of 64 mobile and static clinics per month nationwide.
Today Impact Medical compromises of 8 Radiographers, 5 technical & engineering staff along with administrative support staff. Our clinical staff have, as individuals and a team been at the forefront of innovation in shockwave therapy since its first use in ESWL in the NHS in 1995;

Impact Medical also set up the first dedicated fully private clinic within the UK based at the prestigious Cromwell Hospital in London. The London Lithotripter Centre is managed, staffed and operated by Impact Medical Limited and works with consultants across the capital providing an unparalleled service with 61% of patients treated with a single session of ESWL. Today the company continues to grow with the introduction of the P3000PLUS Lithotripter.
Our focus on innovation continues and we are actively involved in clinical studies in association with MAUMSS in North Wales, Vascular Research Centre in Hull, to name a few.
